I just love the Netherlands, the country is so beautiful & the people are so nice.

 I am really enjoying the architecture and interiors; as the dutch have such great 

style. We are loving it & don't want to leave.....and today has been a BIG party!

HAARLEM

Well we are on day 4 of our 10 days here in Haarlem.  I must say, it is one of the most

beautiful places that I have visited.  We are staying in a stunning canal side house and are

 absolutely drinking in the local culture and loving every minute of it.  We are just a short

train ride into Amsterdam which has even more to see...

Could this be the perfect place to live?

MERCAT RESTAURANT IN AMSTERDAM - HERE I COME!

I'm counting down the days until we get to spend 10 days in the Nederlands.

I simply cannot wait. I have so much work to finish before I go so I am trying

not to daydream just yet - but seeing another very cool restaurant interior has

made me do just that! Mercat - Spanish restaurant in Amsterdam.  Perfect!

PENTHOUSE IN MADRID

This is such a great new project by Architects Studio U Abaton.

I see so many new developments and believe me they could take a hint from

 these guys.  I'm trying but it's almost a losing battle! Less is definitely more.

What are your plans today? I'm working and will maybe take some time out for

relaxing in a coffee house this afternoon. (I am up and working at 6 today!)

FOODIE FRIDAY

Food is a major part of my life.

So I have decided to write a regular "Foodie Friday" post...

maybe I'll make and photograph some of my own things for fun 

(may need to brush up on my photography skills, but more on that later!).

I've been really watching my diet this past few weeks (nearly bikini time- eeek!)

So these beautiful photographs really made my mouth water.
